Overview

The Whistler Sasquatch Zipline over Blackcomb Mountain is the longest zipline in Canada and the United States, covering more than 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) and over 7,000 feet in length. The guided tour lasts about 90 minutes and includes the use of a helmet and harness for safety. Participants are transported by a professional 4x4 shuttle driver to the starting point. The Blackcomb Gondola is used during its operating hours to access parts of the course. The zipline route offers views of forests, lakes, mountain peaks, rivers, and a glacier. The tour operates from mid-June through Canadian Thanksgiving in October. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the experience. Participants must be at least 10 years old, with those aged 10 to 18 accompanied by an adult 19 or older. The activity runs in most weather conditions, but cancellations due to poor weather will result in an alternative date or full refund. No bags, purses, or hanging cameras are allowed, and eyewear must be secured. Minimum weight is 75 pounds and maximum weight is 275 pounds. Closed-toe, secure shoes are required; sandals and slip-ons are not permitted.
