Overview

The Whitsunday Crocodile Safari Wildlife Tour with River Cruise and Wetlands Wagon Ride is a six-hour guided tour starting with return coach transfers from Airlie Beach or Shute Harbour to Proserpine. The day begins with a two-hour calm-water cruise along the Proserpine River, where guests can observe estuarine crocodiles and other wildlife in their natural estuary habitat. After the river cruise, the tour continues with a tractor-drawn wagon ride through the wetlands of Goorganga Plains, offering views of the unique vegetation and animal life in this area. Throughout the tour, experienced local guides provide live commentary about the environment and wildlife. A barbecue lunch is included, featuring damper and traditional billy tea. The tour operates in all weather conditions and includes GST. Drinks other than billy tea and gratuities are not included. Vegetarian meal options are available if requested at the time of booking. Guests are advised to bring binoculars, a camera, a hat, sunscreen, and a jacket or pullover. Crocodile sightings are frequent but not guaranteed. Individual cruise ship passengers must book through their ship, not directly.
