Overview

This tour takes place near Fairbanks in the Chena Lakes Recreation Area close to North Pole, Alaska. It lasts about 90 minutes and includes one hour of snowmobile driving through winter trails. A professional guide leads the group and first provides a safety briefing and instructions on how to operate the snowmobile. You will ride across frozen rivers and lakes and through snow-covered paths surrounded by mountain scenery. Helmets and beverages are included. The tour requires arriving at least 30 minutes early for the safety briefing, gear check, and helmet fitting. Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Passengers aged 7 to 17 can ride along but cannot drive. Children 6 and under are not allowed. The tour may be canceled if conditions are unsafe or there is insufficient snow. Transportation to and from the tour location and clothing are not included.

After your exhilarating journey through Alaska’s backcountry, relax and warm up with complimentary hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and snacks. Important Information: *Please arrive on time for your tour. *Clothing is not provided – come dressed appropriately for the weather. We recommend Alaska Element for affordable clothing rentals. *Double rider bookings must be made in pairs of two. If your group has an odd number, one person must book as a single rider and pay the price difference.
