Overview

This full-day boat cruise lasts about 8 and a half hours, starting with a direct sail from Galway City across Galway Bay. On the way, you will see the coastline of Connemara and Clare. The boat docks at Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands, where you have about four and a half hours to explore. The trip back to Galway includes a cruise along the Cliffs of Moher, which rise over 200 meters and are about 300 million years old. While sailing, an audio guide provides information about the islands’ prehistoric archaeology, natural heritage, and stone fortresses, as well as facts about the Cliffs of Moher. Wildlife such as puffins, dolphins, seals, and basking sharks can often be seen near the cliffs, along with the sea stack called An Branán Mór and a sea cave featured in the movie Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Passengers can enjoy fresh air and the views throughout the day.
