The tour starts with a visit to Wat Phra Singh, a 14th-century temple known for its classic Lanna architecture and active monastic community. Then it continues to Wat Phan Tao, an old temple with a teakwood ordination hall located next to Wat Chedi Luang. Next, the tour stops at Wat Chedi Luang, a large temple ruin built between 1391 and 1475, once the tallest structure in Chiang Mai, famous for its massive chedi and for previously housing the Emerald Buddha. The route then goes to Wat Lok Molee, just outside the old city walls, which features one of Chiang Mai’s largest chedis built in 1527 containing ashes of Lanna dynasty kings. The last stop is the Night Bazaar, where the group spends about 90 minutes. Here participants can browse the market stalls selling clothes, handicrafts, and street food. The tour includes a simple street-food meal and a dessert at the market. Bottled water is provided throughout.
