Overview

This four-hour cooking class takes place in Chiang Mai at Mama Noi Thai Cookery School and includes a visit to an organic farm. The experience begins with a guided tour of the organic garden where participants select fresh ingredients for their cooking. Each participant then works at their own cooking station under the guidance of a local chef to prepare traditional Thai dishes. After cooking, the class includes two complimentary dishes: Mango Sticky Rice and Thai Tea. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off within the Chiang Mai city area, a cooking recipe book, and the services of a professional local guide or driver. Alcoholic drinks, additional food and drinks, personal expenses, and luggage storage are not included. Vegetarian options are available if requested at the time of booking. Children under 10 years old may attend only as visitors and do not participate in cooking. Children aged 10 and above must pay the adult price to join the cooking activities.

Itinerary

During the Mama Noi Thai Cookery School activity, travelers will get the chance to explore the wonderful flavors of Thai cuisine with the guidance of a local chef. They will learn about the different ingredients and techniques used to create delicious Thai dishes. They will be able to make and prepare five authentic dishes from scratch while learning about the history, culture and traditions of Thailand. After the cooking class, they will get to enjoy the delicious meal they have prepared. Plus, they will receive a souvenir recipe booklet with all the recipes they have made during the cooking class. Vegetables grown in our farm's organic garden are used extensively in the farm's and cooking school's Chiang Mai-based menus. Children must be at least 10 years old to participate in cooking activities and children age above 10 have to pay in adult price. Children age below 10 will be considered as accompanying travelers without cooking. Transportation service will be provided and may stay during the whole course; a meal will be provided on-site.
