Overview

This 7-hour desert safari in Dubai offers a full day of activities starting with pickup from centrally located hotels. The journey begins with a drive through Dubai city into the Arabian Desert for a 4x4 dune bashing ride over the golden dunes in specially equipped SUVs with rollover protection. Guests who prefer a gentler ride can opt for a soft track safari instead. After dune bashing, the tour moves to the Majlis ABC Tours desert camp for about 3 hours of evening activities. At the camp, guests receive a traditional Arabic welcome with aromatic Ghawa coffee and local dates. You can take a camel ride, which can be repeated, and have henna applied by a dedicated artist. Hookah is available at the tent, and traditional Arab clothing (Abaya for women, Kandura for men) can be tried on. Sandboarding is also offered before sunset. The camp provides unlimited water and soft drinks after sunset. As night falls, three live shows take place: the Fire show, the Tanoura dance, and a belly dance performance. Dinner is a buffet BBQ with Emirati and Mediterranean dishes prepared to Western standards, including vegetarian options and a falafel counter. Desserts and hot drinks like tea and coffee are served afterward. Pickup and drop-off cover 700 hotels across Dubai, with special arrangements for guests from other Emirates requiring meeting points. Safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the safari and at the camp. A licensed, experienced driver guides the tour.
