This evening desert safari in Dubai centers on the Lahbab Red Dunes, known for their soft, tall red sand formations. The tour lasts about six hours and begins with a 30 to 35-minute dune bashing session in a licensed 4x4 vehicle driven by a trained desert safari captain. This off-road drive over the dunes offers a lively, bumpy ride through the desert landscape. After dune bashing, the group arrives at a spacious desert camp where guests receive Arabic gahwa, dates, water, tea, coffee, and unlimited soft drinks. Guests can then try sandboarding down the dunes and stop to take photos during the sunset. There is also a short camel ride and a chance to pose with a falcon for photos.
