Next, the group drives along a narrow road surrounded by rocky formations with caves to reach Noravank monastery. Visitors spend an hour at this 13th-century complex, which includes St. Karapet, St. Gregory The Illuminator churches, and the two-storey St. Astvatsatsin church, notable for its architectural and sculptural details. After Noravank, the tour continues to the Hin Areni Winery for a stay of about 90 minutes. This winery in the Areni village of Vayots Dzor processes over 250 tonnes of grapes and combines ancient Armenian winemaking traditions with modern equipment. Guests have the opportunity to taste local wines here. Lunch is offered but not included in the price. The final stop is T'rchuneri (Bird) Cave, visited for about 40 minutes.
