This private half-day tour in Kathmandu includes a hotel pickup inside the ring road and Bouddha area, followed by a drive to the Chandragiri Cable Car station. The cable car operates from 8:00 am to about 5:00 pm daily. The 10-minute cable car ride ascends from the base station through dense jungle to the summit of Chandragiri Hill at 2,551 meters (8,369 feet). At the top, visitors can walk around the area and visit the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site that marks the location where Satidevi’s forehead fell during Shiva’s journey. The hilltop provides a 180-degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range, from Annapurna to Mount Everest on clear days.
