by Nā Lei Aloha Dinner Show
The Nā Lei Aloha Luau is a boutique luau celebration held in Waikiki, lasting about two and a half hours. The event begins with guests enjoying handcrafted cocktails while watching local artisans demonstrate traditional Hawaiian crafts. The luau features storytelling, music, and hula dance that highlight Hawaiian culture and the significance of lei in the islands. An optional buffet dinner is available, offering traditional Hawaiian dishes such as poke and kalua pork alongside international selections including prime rib, crab legs, an oyster bar, and sushi. The buffet is served at the Hyatt and includes a variety of labeled dishes, with vegetarian and vegan options available. The package includes gratuities, dinner when selected, and alcoholic beverages. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not provided.
Guest Check-In and Pre-Show
Dinner guests may start checking in on the 3rd floor, where hosts will welcome them and guide them to their seats. Their server will take beverage orders and provide access to The Hyatt's all-you-can-eat International Buffet. Before the show starts, lei making demonstrations, hula dancers, and strolling musicians offer light entertainment. Show Only guests check in separately and are escorted to their seats with beverage orders taken. After sunset, The Nā Lei Aloha Show begins, presenting Hawai‘i’s culture, history, and lei symbolism through mele (music), oli (chant), and hula.
