This two-hour perfume masterclass takes place in a historic workshop in Florence, Italy. Participants meet a master perfumer who explains the techniques and secrets of the Florentine alchemy tradition related to perfumery. The session begins with a welcome visit to the Antica Spezieria Erboristeria San Simone store and its artisanal laboratory. Afterward, the master perfumer provides an introduction to the history of perfumery in Florence. Participants then use a kit of essences to make their own personal fragrance. The workshop includes a coffee break with complimentary coffee, tea, or water. Each person receives a 30ml bottle of their personalized perfume and a certificate at the end. The activity requires participants over 12 years old to present proof of Covid-19 vaccination, recent infection, or a negative test taken within 48 hours before the start. Gratuities, hotel pickup and drop-off, and transportation to and from the workshop are not included.
