Overview

This full-day wildlife tour lasts about 10 to 11 hours and starts from several locations including La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano), Tamarindo Beach, Flamingo Beach, and the Papagayo area. It visits the Tenorio Volcano National Park, where you will find the bright turquoise Rio Celeste waterfall within a tropical rainforest setting. The tour includes a brief stop at the 400-year-old Tree of Peace (Arbol de la Paz) for photos. Then you will spend roughly an hour and a half tubing down the blue river, with several stops to swim and enjoy fresh tropical fruits. After tubing, the group will have a typical lunch. Following lunch, the route continues through areas that provide opportunities to see various wildlife, such as two types of sloths, colorful frogs, monkeys, exotic birds, and other animals in a sanctuary setting. The tour finishes with a stop at a souvenir market before returning to your accommodation by air-conditioned roundtrip transportation, except for the self-drive option. A certified bilingual guide accompanies the entire tour.
