The Colosseum, also called the Flavio Amphitheater, is an oval structure made of travertine, tuff, and brick-faced concrete. It is the largest building constructed in ancient Rome, located east of the Roman Forum. Construction started in 72 AD by Emperor Vespasian and finished in 80 AD under his successor Titus. The tour spends about one hour here.
