This is a four-day hiking tour along the Classic Inca Trail in the Cusco region of Peru, ending at Machu Picchu. The trek covers various Inca archaeological sites and passes through different ecological zones within Machu Picchu National Park. Along the route, hikers will see a variety of bird species and flowers native to the area. The trail includes several mountain passes offering views of the Andes. On the final day, the route passes through the Sungate before arriving at the Machu Picchu citadel, where an informative guided tour takes place. The tour includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the trek. Participants stay in four-season Eureka Timberline tents equipped with foam mattresses and pillows. A dining and cooking tent with tables and chairs is provided. Boiled water is available to fill water bottles, and hot water is supplied for washing. A private toilet tent with a standard seat is set up for the group’s exclusive use. The package includes a professional English-speaking guide, a chef with cooking equipment, and porters to carry tents, food, cooking gear, and personal belongings so hikers only carry a day backpack. The permit for the Classic Inca Trail and entrance to Machu Picchu are included. Hotel pickup is provided on the first morning of the trek. A first aid kit with an emergency oxygen tank is available during the hike.
