This half-day rafting trip covers about four hours on the Colorado River near the Fisher Towers in Moab. The section of river here is known for its scenic views and some rapids that vary with the water level and season. The area has been a popular filming location for many western movies and commercials, including productions by John Wayne and John Ford. More recently, The Lone Ranger movie starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer was filmed here in 2013. The tour is conducted by a professional guide and includes all taxes, fees, and cups with water. Participants should bring their own water bottles. This is a group tour, not private, and gratuities and lunch are not included. Youth weighing 50 pounds or less are not allowed to participate due to insurance and personal flotation device rules. Guests are asked to reconfirm their booking by phone the day before the tour.

The Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River is HEAVY ON SCENERY, WITH SOME FUN SMALL RAPIDS (depending on the water level/time of year). This is an area where many motion pictures and commercials have been filmed over the years. John Wayne and John Ford filmed a lot of old westerns in this area. Most recently filmed in this area was The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp & Armie Hammer (2013). This is a calm water trip, with small rapids, class 1 & 2. Depending on water levels there is the chance for a class 3 rapid on this section. The rafts are set up where the guide will be doing all the rowing. Paddleboats (where everyone paddles) are an option upon request (24-hour advance notice required).
