The trip lasts approximately four hours and includes ground transportation from the departure location to the river put-in and back. The route passes through red rock canyons and features moderate rapids. Inflatable kayaks are available upon request if arranged before the trip. Departure times are typically at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 2:00 pm. The 12:00 pm departures include a buffet-style lunch served by the riverside. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation devices and river dry bags for belongings are provided. Ice water is supplied, but guests should bring their own reusable water bottle. The trip requires a minimum of four participants to operate and has minimum age and weight requirements of six years old and 50 pounds (23 kilograms). Passengers must provide their weight at booking. It is recommended to bring sturdy footwear, quick-dry clothing, a swimsuit or fast-drying shorts, sun protection, and a camera.
