On arrival at Walter Peak High Country Farm, guests enter the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant, where a buffet dinner is served featuring wood-fired BBQ, fresh salads, seasonal vegetables, and locally sourced meats, along with a variety of desserts. The restaurant overlooks Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding alpine scenery, set within landscaped gardens. After dinner, a farm demonstration takes place showcasing farm dogs herding sheep and allowing visitors to meet farm animals.
