This full-day tour lasts about 9 to 10 hours and begins with a 4x4 Land Rover pickup at a meeting point in Porto. The drive to Peneda-Gerês National Park takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes. Once inside the park, participants start with a beginner-friendly kayak session on Caniçada Lake that lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The lake is surrounded by mountain landscapes, and there is a stop at a small sandy beach where guests can swim, relax, or try stand-up paddleboarding. After kayaking, the group enjoys lunch at a local restaurant serving traditional dishes along with vinho verde wine. Following the meal, there is a short walk of approximately 25 minutes each way on a path that has some uphill and downhill sections and may be slippery or require scrambling over rocks. This trail leads to a waterfall where visitors can swim in clear water.
