Overview

This full-day scuba diving program in Key Largo offers participants the chance to try scuba diving with a professional scuba instructor. The day begins with classroom instruction covering basic scuba theory. After the academic session, participants practice essential scuba skills during pool training in a controlled environment. Following pool training, the instructor leads two guided dives on local coral reefs. These reefs are home to many varieties of colorful fish and may include sightings of nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers, and barracudas. The reefs are free of dangerous animals to ensure a safe experience. All necessary scuba equipment is provided, including rental gear. Participants need to bring only a swimsuit and a towel. Swimming ability is required, and participants must be in good health. The instructor remains with the group throughout the entire 24-hour program to provide guidance and support. Local taxes are included. Participants must complete a medical questionnaire before joining and follow health restrictions. Flying or engaging in high-altitude activities is not allowed until the morning after the dive day.
