This 3.5-hour guided minivan tour covers Kuala Lumpur’s notable landmarks and city highlights with hotel pickup and drop-off included for selected hotels. Guests outside the pickup area will meet at the Malaysia Tourism Centre. The tour begins with a visit to Merdeka Square, also known as Independence Square, where visitors can see a blend of traditional and modern architecture. After about 20 minutes, the tour continues to the National Mosque, built in 1965, featuring a large green and blue tiled dome and 48 smaller domes around a courtyard inspired by Mecca. The minivan then passes the Malayan Railway Administration Building and the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, known for its combination of Eastern and Western architectural styles. The route includes passing by the Lake Gardens and the National Museum, which holds collections of ancient and modern art, weapons, and traditional costumes. There is a photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur’s architectural icon, allowing guests to capture the city skyline; admission inside the towers is not included. Nearby is KLCC Park, a 50-acre garden with a 10,000 square meter manmade lake and a 43-meter bridge.
