Overview

This shuttle tour offers transportation to Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Johnston Canyon over about 4 to 5 hours. Pick-up is available at fixed times in Canmore (7:40 am, 9:00 am, 1:00 pm, or 2:00 pm) and Banff (8:00 am, 9:30 am, 1:20 pm, or 2:20 pm). The vehicle is air-conditioned and driven by a guide who shares local information throughout the journey. During the summer season from June 1 to October 11, the tour stops first at Moraine Lake for a 90-minute visit where guests can walk lakeside trails and rent canoes to paddle on the turquoise water surrounded by the Ten Peaks. Afterward, there is a 75-minute stop at Lake Louise to enjoy views of the emerald lake and surrounding glaciers. In winter or when Moraine Lake is closed, the itinerary includes Johnston Canyon instead of Moraine Lake, allowing 90 minutes there and about 60 to 75 minutes at Lake Louise depending on the season. Crampons are provided in winter for walking on icy sections. The shuttle service is shared with other travelers and does not include gratuities or extra fees for cabin-size luggage. Luggage, wheelchairs, or strollers requiring extra space must be reported in advance. Pick-up times may change during peak season with notice given the day before.
