Castle Valley in Moab is a wide red-rock canyon that the Colorado River flows through. This half-day rafting trip takes about 4 and a half hours, mostly drifting along the river with occasional Class II rapids to add some excitement. The water temperature is generally warm from late spring through early fall. The tour is conducted on boats and includes a safety orientation before the trip begins. Participants receive free splash jackets and helmets if they want them.
