My Son Sanctuary is a collection of Hindu temples located near the Thu Bồn River in Duy Phú Commune, about 20 km west of Trà Kiệu Citadel and near Đà Nẵng City. Built by the Cham people from the 4th to 13th centuries A.D., the complex was dedicated to the god Shiva and used for religious sacrifices. The guide will explain the temple-building techniques and Cham worship traditions. Visitors can also watch a traditional Cham dance. The site has been a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage since 1999.
