The guide tracks the latest weather updates each evening to select areas with the clearest skies, which may include locations as far as Finland. The tour lasts about six hours and includes coffee, tea, muffins, and the use of tripods. If the Northern Lights are not visible immediately, guests can relax while waiting. Photographs taken by the guide during the excursion are emailed to participants after the tour. The group size is limited to eight guests per minivan, with up to four minivans operating on busy nights. The activity difficulty level is easy.
