Overview

This 5-day hiking tour from Cusco follows the Salkantay Trek route to Machu Picchu, combining outdoor trekking with glamping accommodations. The route includes visits to Humantay Lake and the Salkantay Pass, offering views of the Andes along the way. The trek includes three nights camping with private facilities at locations such as Sky Camp, Mountain Sky View, and Sacred Jungle Lodge, plus one night in a 3-star hotel in Aguas Calientes. Participants are supported by an expert mountain guide, a chef, porters, and horsemen. Basic hiking equipment is provided, including a sleeping bag, trekking poles, rain poncho, backpack cover, and hand towel. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the trek, with daily snacks, water, and tea on the trail. Transportation covers private transfers, the PeruRail Vistadome train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, and a train transfer from Hidroelectrica to Aguas Calientes.
